Important Notes Before Use
1. Device Compatibility: Before placing your order, please check device compatibility on the product page to ensure the eSIM works properly on your device.
⚠️ Important Note Before Using eSIM
To use an eSIM, your phone must meet both of the following conditions simultaneously:
🔹 Condition 1: Your phone must be an INTERNATIONAL version (Carrier-Unlocked)
Locked Phones: These are devices purchased under contract from foreign carriers (e.g., US, Japan...). They can only use that specific carrier's SIM or require a "SIM interposer" (SIM ghép). Locked phones absolutely DO NOT support travel eSIMs.
How to quickly check on iPhone: Go to Settings ➔ General ➔ About ➔ Scroll down to "Carrier Lock". If it says "No SIM restrictions", your phone is an International/Unlocked version (Compatible). If it shows anything else, it is a Locked phone (Incompatible).
🔹 Condition 2: Your device must SUPPORT ESIM TECHNOLOGY
Not all phones are equipped with eSIM capabilities. Generally, only newer models support it:
iPhone: Supported from iPhone XR, XS, XS Max and newer models (released from 2018 onwards).
Special Note: iPhones manufactured for the Chinese market (Model code CH/A) and certain versions from Hong Kong and Macau (Model code ZA/A) feature dual physical SIM slots and DO NOT support eSIM.
Samsung / Android: Generally, only recent flagship models support eSIM (such as the Galaxy S20, S21, S22, S23, S24... Galaxy Flip/Fold, or Google Pixel). Mid-range or budget models from Oppo, Xiaomi, and Vivo rarely support eSIM.
🔍 The most reliable way to check: Open your phone app and dial *#06#. If an EID number (eSIM Identifier) appears on the screen, your device supports eSIM.
2. Network Requirements: A stable internet connection is required to install, and activate the eSIM. Please make sure you are connected to reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data before starting, as interruptions may affect activation and later use.
3. Device Binding: Once installed, the eSIM is bound to the device and cannot be transferred to another device.
4. Important Usage Note: If you purchased a multicountry/region eSIM (such as a ”Global eSIM”), please install it only after arriving in your first destination country or region. Installing the eSIM in advance may cause the plan to activate early while passing through supported regions, resulting in fewer usable days than expected.
